It was all "worry worry worry. This person is doing this and I'm only doing this. I'm not working hard enough...blah, blah, blah".
Now look at you. You're working harder than ever.
Just one conversation with Dave Scott ends all worries about not doing enough.
No wonder they call him 'the man'.
Doing his workouts and you're guaranteed to do well on Ironman!
After a quick chit-chat we got right down to business. What are you doing now? What have you done? What do you want to do?
Get this...I told him my goals and...he didn't laugh!
Now that's a good coach!
Then he lays it out for me:
Umm...I'm not a mathlete, but that seems like there are more workouts then there are days in the week! Oh no! Double workout days!
So the freakout about not doing enough is GONE!
Thanks everyone for all nice, supportive comments. They really helped ease me back from the edge.
I don't know what the next freakout will be, but I'm sure that there's more in store for me.
Ironman here I come!
